Specifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EAN: 5710777110165<\/li>\n<li>Part number: 11016<\/li>\n<li>Power: 3 W<\/li>\n<li>Color temperature: 2700 K<\/li>\n<li>Lumen: 200<\/li>\n<li>CRI: >95<\/li>\n<li>Beam: 40\u00b0<\/li>\n<li>Dimmable: Yes<\/li>\n<li>Size: \u00d835 &#8211; L41<\/li>\n<li>Life hours: 20.000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have the equipment to test if the bulbs live up to the specifications, but at least one of the specifications is incorrect: It&#8217;s not an MR11 bulb. Well, sort of. Almost. I&#8217;ve never had any problem with halogen bulbs of any brand, but these bulbs are too large to fit into my spots. Bummer! A 1 mm difference would probably have made it possible to fit the retaining ring clips into the spot.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techblog.vindvejr.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5601_cropped.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/techblog.vindvejr.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5601_cropped-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/techblog.vindvejr.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5601_cropped-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/techblog.vindvejr.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5601_cropped-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/techblog.vindvejr.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5601_cropped-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/techblog.vindvejr.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5601_cropped-450x300.jpg 450w, https:\/\/techblog.vindvejr.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5601_cropped.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I bought the bulbs because SunFlux suddenly, without notice, changed the specifications for the older GU4\/MR11 bulb with EAN 5710777110158\/part number 11015. It used to be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Power: 3 W<\/li>\n<li>Color temperature: 2750 K<\/li>\n<li>Lumen: 180<\/li>\n<li>CRI: >96<\/li>\n<li>Beam: 40\u00b0<\/li>\n<li>Dimmable: Yes<\/li>\n<li>Size: \u00d835 &#8211; L43<\/li>\n<li>Life hours: 20.000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I actually received one of these, and four bulbs of the new version with these changed specifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Color temperature: 2700 K<\/li>\n<li>Lumen: 200<\/li>\n<li>CRI: >92<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So that&#8217;s how I found out &#8211; I didn&#8217;t get five identical bulbs, even though it was the same order. So they downgraded the CRI, but upgraded the efficiency a tiny bit. These bulbs are ugly, but at least they fit into standard MR11 spots. I&#8217;m not sure why they made a new version of the old bulb with almost identical specifications as the new one (except the lower CRI).
